Assistant Republican Leader Named

Springfield – State representative Bill Mitchell has been named Assistant Republican Leader for the Illinois House of Representatives.

Mitchell has served in the house for 14 years, and served on the Decatur City Council.

He says the position will give him a stronger voice for Central Illinois.
