Champaign – Police arrest two men and seized weapons and drugs in an investigation yesterday.
Police served a search warrant for weapons in the 15 hundred block of Holly Hill Drive around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon. Two hands guns, drug equipment, packaging, and about two grams of a substance, expected to be heroin, were seized.
Officers arrested 23 year old, Tyren Scott, for armed violence and unlawful use of weapons by a felon. 21 year old, Allen Williams was also arrested, for aggravated battery from an unrelated investigation.
Police say both were arrested from a nearby vehicle.
