A man on the run in Danville was shot and taken right into custody after he was released from the hospital.

Danville police said, Antwanne Hall, 18, was shot on the 1600 block of Beechwood.

Hall was treated, released and taken to jail.

Police said he shot an 18-year-old Thursday night and may be involved with another shooting in the Danville area in December.
