Decatur – The man Decatur Police say shot an officer earlier this month pleads not guilty.

32 year old, Dennis Kendall is charged with attempted murder, and a list of drug charges. Police say Kendall shot an officer in the leg who was serving a drug warrant at Kendall's house, in the nine hundred block of North Taylor Street on January 11th.

Kendall is being held in the Macon County Jail on a two million dollars bond, and will be back in court in March.
