Springfield – Police are investigating an early morning fatal shooting.
Police Chief Cliff Buscher told WAND, it happened at 19th and Kansas Street around four this morning. A 38 year old man was shot to death, and a 40 year old man was injured and is now in stable condition, at St. John's Hospital.
Buscher says it appears the shooting stemmed from some type of altercation. Police have talked to witnesses and they have a couple persons of interest.
No arrests have been made at this time. We will have more on this story as it develops.
