Same-Sex Marriage Legislation May Be Up for Valentine's Day Vote
SPRINGFIELD - Same-sex marriage legislation continues to be a point of discussion in the state legislature.
The president of the Illinois Senate, John Cullerton, a democrat from Chicago, says he'd like the same-sex marriage legislation to pass out of committee next week so it can come up for a vote on February 14, Valentine's Day.
Cullerton says he believes the bill has the necessary 30 votes to move to the Illinois House.
