Champaign, IL – The Champaign Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place in the 2000 block of Cynthiana Drive at 10:30 Sunday night.
At approximately10:36 PM, officers responded to the area and talked to a man who said he was shot at by two men. The victim said he was approached by the men while driving in the 2000 block of Cynthia drive.
One of the men allegedly fired multiple shots after stepping out of a car. As the victim attempted to leave the area, the second suspect allegedly pointed a gun at him and also fired multiple shots. Both suspects fled the area. On February 4, 2013, a warrant was issued for the arrest of QUINTIN M. BROWN, 21, of Urbana and AARON A. JAMERSON, 21 of Champaign. Both suspects are wanted for the offense of Attempt Murder with Intent to Kill or Injure.
