last night.

Police say a man bought a Japanese hand grenade at a rummage sale and was
showing his friend. The friend said it looked like it could explode, so they
called police.
The
bomb squad detonated the grenade, using a robot to remove the grenade from a truck and take it to a vacant lot. The explosion caused homes to shake. No one was hurt, and
there was no damage.
