WASHINGTON - More details have emerged in the case of Jesse Jackson, Jr.

The former U.S. Representative and his wife agreed Friday to plead guilty in a case prosecutors called a scheme to use $750,000 in campaign funds for personal expenses, including a Rolex watch, furniture, and furs.

In a statement released by his attorneys, Jackson took full responsibility for his actions, apologized, and said he hoped that he would ultimately be remembered for what he has done right.

Details of the sentence being recommended to U.S. District Court Judge Reggie Walton, who is assigned to the case.

Jackson resigned from the Congressional seat he held for 17 years on Nov. 21, 2012, acknowledging a federal investigation and citing health issues.
