Argenta – The Macon County Sheriff says an Argenta man allegedly deceived businesses, parents, and student athletes.
42 year old, Loyd Rich Peterson is charged with theft by deception. Investigators say Peterson received donations from businesses and softball players, for a local girls' softball team that no longer exists.
Detectives say they arrested Peterson in Forsyth, as he left a business where he just got another donation. Investigators say Peterson later admitted to using the money for living expenses, with none of the donations going to any softball team.
