Springfield - A new app for smartphones to celebrate Abraham Lincoln has officially launched.

The app was announced Tuesday by the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library Foundations and AT&T. It will feature facts, and you can quiz yourself about Lincoln's life.

One feature -- called "Abe-a-day" -- gives a daily reminder of what Lincoln accomplished for the nation.

The app is available for iPhones and Android based operating systems.
