Springfield – Illinois is making major strides with the Offender Registry System, which will better protect you.

Illinois Department of Corrections and Microsoft are announcing a new IT modernization effort called "Offender-360". It will expand the way the criminal justice information is stored and shared across the state.

"Offender-360's" technology is one of the most advanced systems in the country. Department of Corrections hopes to have over five thousand users by summer.
