Decatur – A woman is dead after an early morning crash.
The crash happened at 7588 East William Street, before three this morning. The Macon County Coroner says 45 year old Julie Mack, was driving west, when she struck a mailbox and lost control going into a roll over into a nearby ditch.
The woman was pronounced dead just after four, from a massive closed head injury, coupled with a sever neck fracture. Toxicology testing is underway and an inquest is pending.
