DECATUR-We've all felt the pinch at the pump. Gas prices climbing each day over the past month. The price of gas on average is up by 43 cents a gallon over the past month across the nation.

The average family spent nearly 3,000 dollars on gas in 2012, 4 percent of their pre-tax income.

For many households, it means spending less money elsewhere and driving less.
