Springfield - "Faith Coalition for the Common Good" is helping a Springfield School District push to encourage students to go to school and get there on time.
The group states that their goal is to make businesses and organizations aware of the problem through blitz campaigns. These campaigns include putting up yard signs as well as passing out buttons and t-shirts. Billboard space will also be used to spread the word about the problem and encourage everyone to show support.
The Springfield's Mayor as well as the Superintendent Walter Milton Jr. have expressed their backing of this issue in attempt to raise awareness and get kids in school and on time.
