The Vermilion County sheriff's department reports that a woman's body was found earlier Sunday on the southeast side of Hoopeston.

Authorities said, the body has not been identified yet. They do not know if the body is of the woman reported missing from Hoopeston in January.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning. The coroner's office hopes to make positive identification of her at that time.

Police are still investigation into her death.
