Concealed Carry directly goes to the floor


Springfield – Lawmakers have hit the house floor for an open debate on concealed carry at the capitol.


House Speaker Michael Madigan sent the two concealed carry bills directly to the floor, and is allowing legislators to submit amendments covering topics involving the issue. A federal court struck down the Illinois ban in December, and ordered a law be approved by early June.
