Georgia man arrested in Rantoul - Wandtv.com, NewsCenter17, StormCenter17, Central Illinois News-

Champaign - A Georgia man is behind bars after police say he had sex with a teenage runaway in Central Illinois.

Police say they found 23 year old, Alexis Gutierrez, with a 16 year old Texas runaway, in a Rantoul hotel room. Gutierrez tells police they have dated for 7 months, and admitted to having sex with her while in Rantoul.

Gutierrez is behind bars on a quarter million dollar bond. The girl was taken to a shelter in Champaign.
