Water agreement with ADM to be discussed

Decatur – The Decatur City Council will consider a water agreement with ADM at tonight's meeting.

The plan is to help ease the cost of new water sources for the city. In the agreement, ADM would pay 2.5 million to help with cost of the alternate water supplies.

ADM would also build two well on their property, allowing the company to continue operations in the risk of a drought.
