Urbana – Police responded to a stabbing yesterday evening.

Police say they were at the Manor Motel on the corner of Cunningham and Oakland for an unrelated call when an employee ran up to them saying a person was bleeding. Police responded to a van that had two people inside, who had been cut.

Those two people were taken to the hospital for treatment. Urbana Police stress that this is an isolated incident and all parties involved are accounted for.
