Quinn plans to pay down overdue bills

Springfield – Governor Quinn has an idea how to pay down 9 billion dollars on overdue bills.

Quinn has proposed legislation to end some corporate tax breaks. He says his plan is sound, even though last year he signed legislation approving tax breaks for Sears and CME.

The Governor says that was different because it saved thousands of jobs.

He says his plan would raise 450 million annually. Business leaders object, saying it would hurt job creation.
