Rantoul – A central Illinois school goes into lockdown mode, as police chase a man through Rantoul.

Police say just before 10 this morning an officer say a man he believed to be Lawrence Lilard who has three warrants for his arrest. When the officer went to investigate the man lead him on a chase through Champaign County, before stopping at the Ford County line.

A Paxton School was on lockdown during the pursuit. No arrests have been made.
