Teens take up residence in a Forsyth home

Decatur – Ten teens are accused of taking up residence in a Forsyth home while the owners were gone.

Macon County Sheriff, Tom Schneider says, last Monday someone called after seeing suspicious activity. When deputies went to investigate they found teenagers staying a house who did not live there.

Deputies say they caused damage and stole more than 10 thousand dollars worth of items, including firearms.

Schneider says some of the missing items have still not been found, "we were not successful in the recovery of the actual firearms but we were successful in the recovery of several of the bb guns. So it strengthens the case in reference to the firearms from that we received and, unfortunately it's disheartening that these are weapons that are back out on the streets."

The vehicle was found later in Decatur. 17 year old Ahquavious Bradford is the only one being charged as an adult as of now. He is charged with residential burglary, and being held at the Macon County jail on a 25 thousand dollars bond.
