Police find possible motive for Decatur murder

Decatur – There might be a possible motive for the Decatur murder of James "Nate" Johnson.

Sworn statements from police say, witnesses told police that Anthony and James Chatman killed Johnson because of a dispute between Johnson and James's son Devante Hill.

Police say 18 year old, Devante Hill told his uncle that he had been robbed by Johnson a week before the murder. During interviews Hill denied having any dispute with Johnson, but admitted to knowing him.

Hill is now behind bars for obstructing justice. 44 year old Maleea Kareotes was also arrested for obstruction of justice in the case. Kareotes is allegedly the girlfriend of James Chatman.
