Savoy – Soon you might be able to get to the East Coast quicker and more easily from Central Illinois.

U of I's Willard Airport in Savoy is working to arrange flight service from the airports to the East Coast most likely to Dulles International Airport in Washington D.C. The airport got a half-million dollar federal grant to help with the new air service.

Flights could also be added to Cleveland, Philadelphia, Atlanta, or Detroit.
