Sheriff Tom Schneider re-elected as Sergeant at Arms
Decatur – Macon County Sheriff Tom Schneider was re-elected to his role as Sergeant at Arms for the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System.
Schneider has served as Sergeant at Arms since 20011 He was also appointed to the ILEAS Governing Board to represent the interests of the Illinois Sheriffs' Association.
Schneider is part of the Executive Committee providing oversight on staff activities, and working with the board to establish policy and strategic planning. ILEAS is in alliance of more than 900 local and state law enforcement agencies.
ILEAS Executive Director James Page said that Schneider's knowledge is invaluable to them "Sheriff Schneider has been a member of the ILEAS leadership team for some time. His experience and knowledge of law enforcement, particularly at a county level are invaluable to ILEAS. We look forward to his continued guidance."
