Urbana – Building and Food Service Union workers are waiting for a counter wage proposal from the U of I.

Negotiations continued with a federal mediator Tuesday. A response is not expected until the middle of next week when talks resume.

Workers of the Building and Food Service Union were on a three day strike last week.
