Springfield – After months of
waiting plans for the proposed Legacy Sports Complex in Springfield could soon be approved.
Alderman Cory Jobe plans to ask tonight that
the ordinance be placed on next weeks agenda. The proposal was tabled in the
past few months.
The complex will have 15 all weather
athletic fields. It will include 10 baseball and softball fields and five
soccer and football fields.
If approved by the Springfield City
Council it will be on the south side along I-72.
Evangelist Franklin Graham prayed on a sidewalk outside the Pentagon Thursday after his invitation to a prayer service inside was withdrawn because of comments that insulted people of other religions. More>>
