Mans life saved after vehicle pinned him on the ground
Champaign – A man gets pinned
under a vehicle, but people come to his rescue and save his life.
It happened Monday on the snow covered
roads. Illinois State Police say 21 year old Nicholas Carter was driving on
I-57 just north of Rantoul when he lost
control, hit, and rolled over 21 year old Ethan Asofsky.
Asofsky was out of his vehicle trying to
flag down a friend. A trooper and others helped lift the vehicle off him. His
injures are believed to be non-life threatening.
Carter was charged with failure to reduce
speed to avoid an accident.
