Fund to fix courthouse grows

Mount Pulaski – The third graders are now up to over 46 hundred dollars for their fundraiser to fix up the town's courthouse.

It is a number they never even imagined. Just today students received 785 dollars. Students started from scratch after a book inspired the idea to help preserve the historic courthouse.

Last week the courthouse was awarded a 15 hundred dollar grant to help with the update. The students still need your help. You can send donations to the third grade class at Mount Pulaski grade school.

Checks can be made out to the Courthouse Foundation. The deadline to donate is April 7th.
