Council to vote on grocery store development

Decatur – The addition of a new grocery store in Decatur is up for a vote.

The Decatur City Council could make the approval later today. Neimann Foods is hoping to build a County Market at the corner of Grand Avenue and Route 48. This is a multi million dollar project that has been talked about for nearly a year now.

Neimann Foods and the city have done some preliminary work, but there are still some details to be worked out. We will have more on this story tonight in our 5 newscast.
