Decatur – Work is set to begin
on US 36 and County Club Road
in Decatur, on
Department of Transportation has announced that construction work will begin at
the intersection of US 36 and Country
Work on the project
consists of traffic signal modernizations and repair of through lanes on US
36. All roadway work at intersection of US 36 and Country Club Road will be completed
between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. of the next day.
Completion of repair
work will require the closure of the approaches of Country Club Road during the
evenings. Only one approach to US 36 will be closed at a given time with
the intersection being open by 6:30 a.m. the next day. Motorists are
asked to slow down, use caution and follow all signs.
Illinois Valley Paving
is the prime contractor and Sean Hendrickson is the Resident Engineer for the
