Decatur - The City of Decatur will hold several programs on Wednesday, April 24 as part of Money Smart Week, a national financial literacy public awareness campaign sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
Scheduled activities will include:
The City's Neighborhood Outreach Division is hosting a program titled "Home Maintenance Tips." The program is scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on the third floor of the Decatur Civic Center.
The Decatur Human Relations Commission is hosting "How Can I Protect My Human Rights in Real Estate Transactions." The program is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on the third floor of the Decatur Civic Center.
The City of Decatur and Ameren are hosting "What Can Energy Efficiency Do For You?" The program is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on the third floor of the Decatur Civic Center.
Money Smart Week® is a public awareness campaign designed to help consumers better manage their personal finances through the collaboration of local and national partners. A number of local organizations are working in the Central Illinois area on events to further this initiative.
