Decatur man driving drunk with a child in the vehicle
Decatur – A Decatur man is in jail, after police say he was driving drunk with his three year old daughter in he car.
According to police 32 year old Meddie Lewis was unable to perform any field sobriety tests. When police approached the car Lewis's speech was slurred, and a strong smell of alcohol was coming from the vehicle.
Lewis also has two prior DUI convictions. He is being held at the Macon County Jail on a 20,000 dollars bond.
