Guidelines for spectators for this weekend’s races

The Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon committee has released this list of guidelines for spectators of this weekend's races.  Spectators are requested to adhere by these recommendations to ensure safety and fun for all involved.

2013 Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon: Spectator Guidelines

Free parking is available at the Assembly Hall, the Research Park (off of St. Mary's and Oak), and Lot E14 (off of Oak).

Spectators access the stadium through Door 32 on southwest side or Doors 19, 21, or 23 on the southeast side.

No spectators are allowed on the Memorial Stadium Field. Specta¬tors can cheer on the participants from the East or West stands.

No spectators are allowed in the Great West Hall unless you are accompanying a race entrant that is a minor.

Meet your family after the race in the FAMILY REUNION area in the Horseshoe bleachers (southside). Look for large letters of the alphabet to identify specific reunion locations.

Bathrooms are located on the east side of Memorial Stadium and at the 27th-Mile Celebration on Kirby Avenue.

Starting at 5:30 a.m. near the bag drop area, west of Assembly Hall, Einstein Bros.

Bagels and Columbia Street Roastery will cohost FREE coffee and bagels.

Backpacks, bags, coolers, containers, and alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed into Memorial Stadium. Small purses and fanny packs (8.5 x 11) or smaller are allowed, but are subject to inspection.
