City working to be more handicap accessible

Urbana – The city of Urbana is working to be handicap accessible.

Officials have started by making sure places are up to code with the American Disabilities Act. Crews have been installing wheelchair ramps and automatic doors across town.

The city is looking for community input on what else needs to be changed. If you would like to share your ideas you can this Thursday at 4:30 at the Champaign Library.
