24 year old Katie McKenna took a plea deal for one count of reckless homicide with a motor vehicle in a Christian County Court yesterday. The other two counts were dropped.
McKenna faces up to six years in prison, and will be sentenced July 2nd. Police say McKenna was driving when she crashed in Kitchell Park. Her sister, 23 year old Shelly McKenna, a friend 18 year old Melissa Keller, and son three month old Kenence McKenna all died as a result of the crash.
Autopsies later found that Keller and Shelly McKenna had traces of marijuana and a chemical used in computer board cleaner in their systems.
