Attorney General: School Board broke state laws

Springfield – The State Attorney General says the Springfield School Board broke state laws.

School board members signed a separation agreement with former Superintendent Walter Milton at a February meeting. The board did not notify the public first about that meeting, which violates the state's open meetings act.

No word yet if the board will be reprimanded for breaking the law.
