Villa Grove – Ambulance service in Villa Grove will continue.
The City Council signed a three year contract that includes a renewal for another three years, totaling a six year contract with Arrow Ambulance. The cost for the first year will be $45,000, with increases over the six year period topping out at $72,000.
Mayor Terry Harbin says by the sixth year it should be an even break situation, now that Villa Grove will not be the sole provider for the service.
