Police arrest one in connection with homicide case
Springfield Police have arrested 50
year old, Mark Brown in connection with homicide of a Springfield woman.
The Sangamon County Coroner, says
Rebecca Cleaton was pronounced dead in the 900 block of North Ninth Street on Saturday.
Springfield Police have declined to release the nature of her wounds, but the
coroner says they are consistent with homicide.
Brown is currently on parole at the House
of Rainbow in Springfield.
He removed his ankle monitor and left
the residence. Brown was located in Champaign by U.S. Marshals Violent Task Force.
Police are still interviewing the
suspect at this time.
