Fraud scheme lands local farmer behind bars


Logan County – A local farmer will spend time behind bars.


Timothy Borema, from Logan County admitted to being part of a 14 million dollar fraud scheme. Borema was the grain manager at Towanda Grain Company, when he stole money from the employer.


Borema pleaded guilty to wire fraud. He now faces 30 years in prison, and will be sentenced in October.
