Suspicious fire at local business under investigation

Posted:

Lincoln – Police and fire are investigating a suspicious fire at a local business, which took four local departments to put out the blaze.

Lincoln, Atlanta, and Mount Pulaski and rural Lincoln firefighters were called to McEntire Roofing INC, in the 19 hundred block of North Kickapoo Street just before 5:30 Saturday morning. Fire Chief Mark Miller says they have determined the fire to be suspicious, because they found multiple areas of origin.

Lincoln Police are looking for two men walking in the area of the fire, wearing hooded sweatshirts at the time. If you have any information call Logan County Crime Stoppers at 732-3000.

The fire caused an estimated 300-thousand dollars in damage. No one was injured in the fire.
