Decatur – An investigation is underway after a body was found in a port-a-potty on the MacArthur High School campus.
The Macon County Coroner told WAND, early this morning construction workers on site found the woman un-responsive and called 911. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene just before 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Her identity has not been released but the coroner says she is not from the Decatur Macon County area. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday morning.
The school district and coroner say that the incident is not related to any students, staff, or contractors.
