Springfield – Police say a man's health is improving after he was shot several times early Saturday morning.
Springfield Police say a 32 year old man was shot at least three times while sitting on a front porch just before six on Saturday morning. The shooting happened at a home near the intersection of 13th and Cass Streets.
Police say the shooter walked up and shot the man before running away. The victim was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries, but police say today he is greatly improved. Police ask anyone with information to call CrimeStoppers at (217) 788-8427.
