Two Springfield schools consider school uniforms


SPRINGFIELD - Dress code changes could be in store for the two newest elementary schools in Springfield Public School District 186.

The school board is now considering to make uniforms a requirement at the new Feitshans and Matheny-Withrow Elementary schools.

Interim Superintendent Bob Leming says adding uniforms to school could help curb bullying.

A final decision will be made at the board meeting scheduled for July 1st.

The school board will make a final decision at its meeting July 1st. The school board president says he thinks it will pass.
