Movie Theater Offers Special Showings for Autistic Customers

Posted:

SAVOY - Those with Autism or other sensory issues may now see movies on the big screen in an adjusted setting.

On one Saturday each month, the Goodrich Quality Theater in Savoy hosts "Lights Up, Sound Down," where the auditorium lights are turned on and the audio is dimmed during one family film.

On June 22, that film was "Monsters University."

Manager Ben Leyman says 10-20 people normally attend. Regular admission fees apply.
