Restaurant receives higher score in recent health inspection

Posted:

Decatur – There is good news for a local restaurant that scored low on a recent health inspection.

Back in May, Dragon Buffet in Decatur got consistently low scores from the Macon County Health Department. There were multiple complaints of food not being at the right temperature, other complaints of a server not washing his hands. The health department told the restaurant if they don't score above a 75 at their next random inspection they'll close the restaurant for three days.

Today the Buffet's owner tells us a new health inspection got them a much high score, an 89 this time around.
