MACON -- For those interested in getting a concealed carry permit, safety training courses are already filling up.
State police haven't yet worked out the training requirements, but the waiting list at the Bullet Trap in Macon is already 100 people deep.
Owner Dan Cooley said concealed carry permits will require two eight-hour safety courses, but they can't schedule classes until police send them an official syllabus.
"Until this comes out on a website somewhere with a state police seal, we don't really know," Cooley said.
The bullet trap offers the first part of the training course already. The NRA Basic Pistol Course is offered there at least twice a week and costs $150.
