Stomach bug going around Midwestern states

A severe stomach bug is making its way to Illinois.

Hundreds of people in Midwestern states have come down with it, and fresh produce may be to blame. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says more than 250 people have been infected with Cyclospora and 10 have been hospitalized.

Most of the cases have been reported in Iowa, Texas, and Nebraska, but Wisconsin, Georgia and Connecticut have also seen patients. The patients got sick from mid-July but doctors don't know yet if the parasite has stopped spreading.
