Springfield – The Illinois State Fair Twilight Parade takes to the streets this Thursday night.
The Twilight Parade starts at 6 p.m. at the intersections of 9th Street and North Grand Avenue. The parade will travel along 9th Street and Peoria Road into the fairgrounds.
Police are reminding people to be safe for this year's parade. Those attending are asked to stay out of floats and vehicles way, and to keep a close eye on children. For those in the parade you are asked to take candy to the curb and through it into the streets.
WAND will be live at the parade during the 6 p.m. newscast.
